The End of an Era: Saying Goodbye to the Boston Loft
The Boston Loft is coming to a close.
Goddess Deanna and the women who have supported her space are finally ready to part ways with her infamous Allston dungeon. If only those walls could talk.
All good things must come to an end, and this space has had an incredible run.
Anyone who has spent time in the New England kink scene has probably heard of - or visited - Goddess Deanna's loft. Running a successful dungeon in Massachusetts is no easy feat, so the fact that Deanna managed to maintain this space for over fifteen years is a testament to both her business acumen and her unwavering passion for kink and community. Over those fifteen years, the dungeon moved three separate times within the same building, surviving countless challenges while continuing to serve as a home for exploration, connection, and play.
While Deanna may be the founder of the space, I would be remiss if I didn't acknowledge the people who helped keep it alive.
Vivian Darkbloom and Slave B have poured immeasurable blood, sweat, and tears into these walls over the years. Slave B built, maintained, repaired, and cared for the space long before the Boston Loft Collective took it over, and all of us who have benefited from his work owe him a tremendous debt of gratitude.
And then there's Vivian Darkbloom.
Vivian is the rock of our social circle - our resident "get shit done" daddy with a heart of gold. I genuinely believe her involvement in the space was only partially for personal and professional use. The majority of her effort came from a simple desire to support her friends, strengthen our community, and ensure that this space remained available to those who needed it. Anyone who has worked alongside her knows exactly what I mean.
To my fellow Boston Loft Collective baddies: we did it.
We managed to keep this space alive for an additional two whole years.
I will forever be proud of what we accomplished together. We banded together to support Deanna, protect our businesses, and preserve an important piece of our local kink community in one of the most creative and collaborative ways imaginable. It has been an honor to share this space with all of you and to commit ourselves to something bigger than any one individual.
An honorable mention must also go to Sub D. Thank you for being our local emergency contact and the person we could call at any hour when we locked ourselves out, needed a stunt cock, or simply required a hot meal and a break from dungeon life. You showed up every single time.
As for me, this space has given me more memories than I could ever count.
I've had incredible scenes, unforgettable adventures, and met some truly extraordinary submissives because of these walls.
A few highlights that immediately come to mind:
Lying on the bed while Sissy B massaged my feet and shared stories about growing up in Boston.
Spending two years with Slave B systematically exhausting every possible heavy bondage configuration the space could accommodate.
Post-session taco runs to Lone Star, where the aftercare was almost as important as the meal.
Of course, not every memory was glamorous.
Some of my favorite stories now are the ones that felt like disasters at the time.
Like the afternoon the fire department came pounding on my door in the middle of a scene because I'd accidentally left the stove on and gas was leaking through the building. At the time? Mortifying. Now? A great story.
Spaces like this are never just rooms. They're collections of stories. They become woven into the lives of the people who pass through them. Friendships are formed. Relationships begin and end. Businesses are built. Skills are learned. Fun was had.
And eventually, a place becomes more than a place.
It becomes part of who we are.
To Goddess Deanna, Vivian, Slave B, the Prince of Allston, my fellow Collective members, and every person who ever played, laughed, cried, cleaned, suffered, surrendered or simply spent time within those walls:
Thank you.
The Boston Loft may be closing its doors, but the impact it has had on our community will continue long after the final lock turns.
One Last Chance
My final Boston tour in the space will be July 5–8.
